Fall Adult Men's Clinic

This fall, we are offering two adult Men’s clinics. A "Game Skills"

clinic skating on Tuesday evenings and a "Skating Skills" clinic

skating on Wednesday evenings.

Our "Skating Skills" clinic is intended for beginner and novice level

players. It is designed for adult men looking to improve their

understing of proper skating technique. The curriculum will focus

on power skating with some exposure to puck control and passing

skills.

Our "Game Skills" clinic is intended for more experienced players

looking to better understand of game tactics. The curriculum in

our "Game Skills" clinic will pick up where our "Puck Skills" clinic

left off.  We will begin by introducing more advanced puck control

and passing skills. The practice plans will then progress to

"Game Situations" including breakouts, neutral zone attack,

in-zone attack and transitions. We will introduce drills each week

to simulate these tactics.

Each clinic will include seven, two-hour ice sessions. The first

hour of ice time will consist of a practice session focused on skill

development. During the second hour of ice time, we will conduct

a controlled scrimmage where we will concentrate on increasing

the speed of play while offering individual instruction in between

shifts. Each session will also include a fifteen-minute "Chalk Talk"

during which essential game concepts are introduced.

Our adult men's clinic will also feature instruction for goaltenders. We will have a goalie

coach at each session in order to offer specific instruction.

The cost is $260.00, which includes fourteen hours of ice time, a high quality jersey, and

over one-hundred-years of experience in developing hockey players.

This program promises to be a great workout and a great deal of fun. A deposit of $125.00

is due with your application, and the balance is due by the first session. Applications will

be accepted on a first come, first served basis and space is limited to thirty skaters and

three goaltenders. We encourage you not to hesitate in returning your applications; our

clinics fill quickly, and we are often forced to return applications.
